YMCA Online Program Registration Instructions

Who Can Register Online?

 

·    YMCA Members and Non-Members over age 18.
   
·      Children may be registered by an adult over age 18.*
*
All adults and children must be entered in the YMCA computer database prior to registration. If you are not in our database, please call your local branch to be entered in with your date of birth so that you may register your child online.
   
Online Registration Instructions
 
Log On to the Website
·         Log On to http://www.auburnymca.org/ and print “Online Registration Instructions.”
   
·    The instructions will take you through step-by-step.
   
·         

Have ready the YMCA membership card for every Y member you wish to register, a credit card and a valid e-mail address, (if you currently do not have an email account, you can set up a free one at Hotmail, Yahoo or MSN).

   
·       

  If at any time you need assistance with online registration you can call the front desk of your branch.

   

Log In to Online Registration

   
·         On the YMCA website http://www.auburnymca.org/ , click on the link to Online Registration.  
   
·        Press the Login Button and enter your YMCA Member ID # (as seen on the membership card under the picture).* If the card does not show the words "Member #" next to the actual number, you must see the front desk and have a new card printed with an updated number that will work for online registration.

*If you are registering a child who is a member and you are not a member:
As the adult, you must be entered in the YMCA computer database prior to registration. If you are not in our database, please call your local branch to be entered in with your name and date of birth so that you may register your child.
     
·         Password =  your birthdate   yyyymmdd   (year, month, day - no slashes needed)
   

Select Your Program(s)

   
·    If you know the class id, enter it in the white box marked as such and press Go. If not, do the following:
   
·         Select a YMCA program from the drop down menu, i.e. Aquatics.
   
·         Select the branch where you would like to take this program, i.e. Downtown.
   
·         Select the date range for this program. Defaults to the currently enrolling session.
·         Select age range. This is optional and helps to narrow search. Usually applies to kids' programs; use 3-5 for pre-school and 7-12 for school age, or leave blank.
   
·         Click Submit.

Red for No and Green for Go!

   
     Your search results will be displayed on the next page. If there are no openings, a red dot will indicate this and you may go back and select a different program.
   
     A yellow triangle indicates the program is not yet open for registration.
   
If your selected program is available, a green dot will indicate this.
·   Click on the underlined program Id# to continue.
·         A summary of the program you selected will appear. Click Register to continue.
·        You may click View Cart at any time to check on the status of programs you are registering for. Click Log Out if you wish to exit and register at another time.

Register, Add to Cart

·         If the person taking the class is someone other than yourself, you will need his or her Y member ID # to enter where it says Select a Different Participant.
·         If all information is correct, click Add to Cart.
·          A summary of programs you have registered for will appear. You may remove programs or continue to checkout.
·         You will receive a SORRY message in red for the following reasons:

·        The person you are registering does not meet the required age range for the class selected.

·        The person you are registering does not exists in the YMCA database, i.e. you have entered an invalid Member Id#.

Register Another Person (optional)
(Please skip this section and move on to "Check Out" instructions if you are only registering one person.)

· If you wish to register a second program participant, click Add Another.
· Proceed through the registration process.
· When you click Register, then go to the box Select Different Participant and type in the new participant's member #.
· Click Continue.
· The screen calls up the new participant that you are registering with the class details. Verify that the information is correct.
· Click Add to Cart at the bottom of the screen. Next you will see all participants registered at this point. If you wish to delete a participant, you may do so by clicking Remove.

Check Out

·      Click Check Out.
·         Enter name, address information and credit card payment details and click Submit.
·         You must have a valid e-mail address (if you currently do not have one you can set up a free one at Hotmail, Yahoo or MSN).
·        
·         The information you provide for YMCA program registration will not be used for any other purpose other than possible e-mail news from the YMCA-WEIU Auburn YMCA, NY. You may cancel this service at any time.

Confirmation & Receipt

·         A receipt and confirmation appears after payment.
·         Print out the confirmation sheet and take to the first class.
   
·         An e-mail confirmation of the programs you registered for will also be sent to your e-mail address. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation within an hour please contact the YMCA-WEIU Auburn YMCA, NY to verify that your registration was successfully completed.
